Students explore how contemporary dance is created. First, the class watches a piece by Hubbard Street 2. Then students create a new work based on themes and processes used in that work.Hip-Hop Dance Camp

SEP 08Hubbard Street Youth Dance Program Open House
Open house features excerpts from most popular programs, including Creative Movement classes, kids’ yoga, ballet, modern, hip hop, jazz, tap and musical theater. Each session is 30 minutes. Stay after class to meet the youth dance faculty and to learn more about other programs.

JUN 10Lou Conte Dance Studio Summer Teen Intensive
June 10 to June 28The Summer Teen Intensive is open to intermediate and advanced dancers ages 14-18 and students can elect to take one, two or all three weeks of the intensive. Classes include ballet, jazz, modern, Pilates, yoga, improvisation and Hubbard Street Dance repertory taught by a faculty consisting of Lou Conte Dance Studio and Hubbard Street Dance artistic staff.

JUN 10Hubbard Street Youth Dance Summer camps
June 10 to August 23Hubbard Street’s Youth Dance Camps offer creative and challenging opportunities for young dancers ages 3 – 14 all summer long! Dance Explorers leads students through a series of movement studies using the techniques and processes of professional choreographers, as young dancers experience professional dance from the ground up. For more advance students (ages 7+), our Secondary Program camps include Ballet, Jazz, and Hip Hop camps where dancers can work intensely in the technique to develop technical skills and virtuosity. For our littlest dancers, Little Movers focuses on gross motor skills and imagination, creating a foundation for further dance studies. New this summer, Hubbard Street is also offering a Secondary Program Intensive (ages 9 – 13 ) and a multi-arts experience combining dance, drama, visual art and music - Artistic Connections. Drop in for one session or spend the summer dancing! Each week offers new opportunities.
